A: Your Fixed Energy Plan won't be auto-renewed. If you haven't made other arrangements at the end of your contract period, you'll be moved onto our Variable Price Plan. This can be more expensive, but it's easy to find a new fixed contract with us, or switch to another supplier. If you want to switch suppliers, you'll need to write to us 30 days before you want to leave and pay any outstanding bills.
A: The annual consumption figure on your renewal offer is our estimate of the amount of energy that you use on an annual basis. We base this on meter readings you've sent us or our meter readers. We work out your annual consumption using all the meter readings we've had in the last 12 months to understand your monthly consumption. We then add all of these monthly values together to give an annual view. If your business has changed the amount of energy it uses, then the annual consumption figure may not be accurate. That's why we also show the unit rate and standing charge too.
