Reasons to replace your old commercial boiler

  • Improve energy-efficiency

Replacing your older, less efficient business boiler can dramatically improve your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating and can help to reduce your overall energy consumption.

  • Improve reliability

Older boilers become difficult to service after a while, and replacement parts are difficult to source. Also, a new boiler is more reliable and is less likely to breakdown.

  • Better control

Modern temperature control devices so that you can be precise about how you heat each area of your business.

Three steps to your new commercial boiler

Book a nationwide appointment for one of our Commercial Boiler advisors to come and help you find the right boiler for your business, which an expert Gas Safe registered engineer will then install. If you need any additional items like a full heating system, replacement radiators, thermostatic radiator valves or additional pipework, we can also assess this for you.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the site visit take?

A: We'll need about 90 minutes for a site visit. This is so we can fully understand your business heating and hot water requirements and provide you a non-obligation quote.

What boilers do British Gas fit?

A: We only install energy-efficient commercial boilers from leading manufacturers, including Ideal, Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and Baxi. All our engineers are Gas Safe registered, so you get the best boiler and a quality install.

What if my boiler’s broken and I just want it repaired?

A: No problem. We can fix it with a one-off commercial boiler repair.

What if I want a boiler for a residential property?

A: Most boilers for residential homes have outputs of less than 70 kW and you can get quotes for these through the new boiler page on our residential site.

If you need a boiler with an output greater than 70 kW, you're in the right place – contact our commercial boiler team, using the details above.

What is a commercial boiler?

A: Commercial boilers are usually larger than domestic boilers. If your business premises needs an output greater than 70 kW then you’ll need a commercial boiler.

It’s important that you hire a gas engineer with the right qualifications. Although the jobs commercial and domestic gas engineers do are similar in name (installing, servicing, repairing gas boilers), just selecting the first engineer you find on Google isn't a good idea. Business and commercial properties can have larger gas boilers, or non-domestic appliances and larger pipework which a domestic engineer isn’t qualified to work on.
